Looking Up at Jel in this Curious Video Snapshot of Time and Event

By kc! Bradshaw @exkclamation · On November 13, 2013

Following some truly unique characters through some remarkably atypical momentary interactions, director Adèle Miossec tells the story of Jel’s brilliant new single “Look Up” —through the eyes of everyday voyeurs. An oddly disconcerting linear vignette effect (produced in the spirit of Richard Linklater’s Slacker) that fits the standout track perfectly.

“This is just a positive affirmation. Don’t take it the wrong way.”

And if you’re unfamiliar with the Chicago-bred, Bay-area based producer/rapper born Jeffrey Logan, he’s on the shortlist for best indie rap producer of the last decade. So make sure you check out the full Late Pass album—out now on Anticon.
